DWI Defense
In order to prove the case of DWI, the State of Texas is not required to prove one is "drunk." The law only requires a loss of normal usage of physical or mental facility or a blood alcohol level of .08.
Many times this level may slip up on one after only a few drinks and with out any desire to be intoxicated. Often, even a slight "buzz" may be sufficient for the State to prove intoxication. Many fine citizens have been pulled over after a few drinks and unbeknown to them be legally intoxicated.
D. Keith Orsburn had handled 100's of DWI cases since 1984. This includes representation in Court, negotiating with District Attorney's regarding plea bargains, conducting Motions to suppress, preserving driving privileges and trials.

Mr. Orsburn has practiced juvenile law since 1984, representing juveniles in all types of cases.

Occupational Driver's Licenses
Many people unfortunately loose their driving privileges due to excessive traffic tickets and/or alcohol offenses. In many of these cases, the damage occurred by losing one's driving privileges may be lessened with an Occupational Driver's License.
Most of the time this simply involved filing a proper petition before the court and the client appearing with Mr. Orsburn before the judge to explain the necessity of the court granting an Occupational Driver's License.
Most situations have to be examined on a case-by-case basis, and one should feel free to contact Mr. Orsburn to determine the likelihood that they could obtain such a license.
